Baby Room Wallpaper by: William James
One of the first things new
parents do is plan on how to decorate the room for the new baby. With
today’s medical technology a couple can learn the sex of the baby well in
advance of the due date. This can aid in choosing a color scheme and baby
room wallpaper and border.

Some parents opt for a currently popular cartoon character. Although the
baby won’t recognize the character they will as they mature into a
toddler. This is a good choice in that the baby room wallpaper can
actually be suitable for several years. Other parents love the idea of incorporating letters and numbers in their baby room wallpaper and border. The alphabet or the numbers one through ten can also stay on the walls for several years. You’ll only need to change the furniture from a crib to a bed as the child grows. If you’d rather go for something more neutral than you might decide on baby room wallpaper that has stripes. This type of wallpaper comes in many different colors. A decorative touch that many parents employ is to place the wallpaper on the top half of the wall with the bottom half being painted. This protects the wallpaper when the child becomes mobile. Many parents are familiar with how creative a small child can be when they get their little hands on a box of crayons. It’s easier to wash the wall than the wallpaper if this does happens. If you’d rather not use baby room wallpaper than perhaps a wallpaper border would be more appropriate. These are easy to apply as they are often self-adhesive. Many of the patterns that you’ll find in baby room wallpaper are reflected on the borders. It’s much easier to apply baby room wallpaper and borders before the baby arrives. Once the baby is born you’ll want to get it accustomed to its own room right away which means no renovations. Painting, wallpapering and furnishing the baby’s room is a wonderful way for both the expectant mom and dad to participate in baby’s arrival. |
